๐Ÿš’ Supporting Volunteer Fire Departments

Invest in the Heroes Who Protect Our Communities.

The Skybelle Foundation rewards volunteer firefighters who choose to get their EMT/Paramedic certification that they don’t already have. Once they receive their dual certification, they must remain with the fire department who registers them with the foundation for 2 years, respond to at least 25% of the station’s total calls per year, and maintain all training required to keep their certifications. After 2 years, the Skybelle Foundation will then reward them with a $2,500 check.

The Skybelle Foundation is NOT retro-active to current volunteer firefighters who currently have a dual certification, and any firefighters that are employed full-time at any other fire department DO NOT qualify.

Our Mission

Empowering the Volunteers Who Protect Us

Volunteer fire departments protect more than 70% of America’s communities โ€” often with limited resources and tight budgets.

The Skybelle Foundation was founded to help provide more dual-certified emergency responders and to help with the recruitment and retention of volunteer fire departments. We reward volunteer firefighters who choose to become a certified EMT/Paramedic.

Through our foundation, Fire Chiefs register their departments, then they register their volunteer firefighter. Once the volunteer firefighter registers to start their EMT/Paramedic classes, or if they are currently enrolled, the Chief will provide Skybelle Foundation with that information (school, technical college, etc.). Upon receiving the EMT/Paramedic certification, the Chief will provide the foundation with that state certification number. After a firefighter remains active for two years, the Foundation pays them directly โ€” $2,500 as a reward for their commitment.

All state certification numbers will be verified.

๐Ÿ”ฅ Why This MattersEMT/Paramedic certified volunteer firefighters are better equipped to respond to medical emergencies, cardiac events, and trauma on scene โ€” often before ambulances arrive. Every dollar we invest in training translates directly to lives saved.
